Code of Conduct
One point is still open. There is no address yet for raising a concern. It will be added before launch.
Why we are here
We are a society of people who use AI to solve business problems. We measure ourselves on three results: growth, margin, and protecting the business. That purpose decides what belongs here. We are reasonable with each other, and we judge an idea by whether it works.
Not a place to sell
We do not use the Club to promote ourselves. We do not use it to promote any member's own business, politics or religion. We also do not collect members' contact details in order to promote any of those things.
This is the rule in our Articles of Association, 15.07.26, available on the Oxbridge Zurich Club website at www.oxbridgezurich.org.
How we treat each other
Write to a member as you would speak to them in the room. Disagree as much as you like. Members here hold strong and opposite views about AI, and that argument is most of the value.
Contempt is not disagreement, and it is not welcome. Answer the claim, not the person.
What stays inside
What is said here stays here. Do not repeat a member's words outside the group or this site, and do not share a screenshot of them, without asking that member first. Members tell each other what their own employer is doing with AI. They can only do that if it does not travel.
Do not post your employer's confidential material: no internal documents, no customer data, no contract terms, no unannounced plans. Describe the problem instead of publishing the evidence. If you could not read it out at a conference, do not paste it here.
What you post with AI
AI writes confidently and is sometimes wrong. If you post what an AI produced, you are posting it. An invented figure, case or source is yours, not the society's. Check it, or say plainly that you have not.
Who is in the group
Everyone invited to a Club WhatsApp group must be a member of the Club. If somebody applies to our AI channel without a name we recognise, we check them against the Club membership list. We may ask for a first and last name. Where a question stays open, the administrators decide whether to admit that person.
Our events are open to every Club member. You do not have to be in the WhatsApp group of the Oxbridge Zurich AI for Business Transformation alumni society to come to one.
What the site never shows
Your email address is never shown to another member. Survey answers are stored with no member attached, so nobody can trace an answer back to the person who gave it — not even an administrator. The privacy notice explains how both work.
If something is wrong
Tell an administrator. A person reads it, not a form. We would rather talk to you first.
Where talking is not enough, an administrator can hide any announcement, journal piece, case study, survey or comment at once, so members stop seeing it. They can archive it, and they can delete it for good. They can also remove an account immediately, which deletes that member's comments with it. Survey answers stay, because they were never attached to anybody. The administrators decide, and there is no committee above them.
